My kids are a big fan of food art; they get very excited each time I make it. I have made a lot of rainbow-themed food art in the past. This one here is a yogurt bowl that has been topped with granola for some extra nutrients, crunch, and flavor. Finally, a variety of fruits have been added on top of the granola to help resemble a rainbow. My kids loved it.

Yogurt Options:
When it comes to buying yogurt, I like to purchase plain unsweetened whole milk yogurt. The flavored yogurts have added sugars in them whereas the plain ones don’t. If you would like the yogurt to have some sweetness, it is best to add some good quality honey (no honey for children under the age of 1) or pure maple syrup to your plain unsweetened yogurt. Additionally, I like to purchase organic or grass-fed yogurt whenever I can. It has been found that grass-fed yogurt tends to have more nutrients in them. Furthermore, for this recipe, you can use either regular yogurt or Greek Yogurt. Greek yogurt is thicker in its consistency and contains more protein than regular yogurt. While regular yogurt is thinner in its consistency.
These are a few of my favorite yogurts I like to buy:

Granola Options:
We love granola at our house. Sometimes I make my homemade granola and other times we buy one that’s made with better-for-you ingredients like the ones shown below by Purely Elizabeth or the Seven Sundays “Rise and Shine Nut Granola.” Also, at times, we like to top our yogurt with some better-for-you and nutritious cereals like the ones shown below by Seven Sundays. They all add great nutrients, texture, and flavor to our yogurt bowls.
