Peaches with Almond Butter

This is such a tasty snack. The peaches make for a great alternative to bread. They provide the natural sweetness when paired with the almond butter. The addition of the ground cinnamon just elevates the flavors even more.

Nutrients: just to name a few

Peach: Fiber, Vitamins A, C & E, an antioxidant, folate potassium

Almond Butter: Protein, Calcium, Zinc, Folate, Iron, Magnesium

Ground Cinnamon: Fiber, Calcium, Iron, Manganese

**Since almonds are a type of a nut, please check with your pediatrician before serving it to your infant, especially if he or she has eczema and/or food allergies.

Pureed Baby Food: This combination may easily be blended in the blender to get it to a puree like consistency.

Thoroughly scrub and wash the peaches, cut them in half and remove the pit. Spread almond butter ( I use one without any salt added) and cut the peaches into strips or into any pieces you feel comfortable serving to your child. Sprinkle some ground cinnamon and serve.

Note: If the peaches are too firm, you may grill it on a grill pan, warm it in a  or over a grill to soften it a bit.
